New Year is a family, homey holiday. At the same time, it is a tradition that symbolizes a process of a cosmic scale: the rotation of the earth around the sun. This simple geometric rotation is reflected in the culture of almost all cultures and nations.
This year we would like to share with you a poster and postcards: in this study, we focus on those objects of everyday life, cult, culture, that decorate this holiday.
These seemingly small and cute items of decor and everyday life: such as a star on a Christmas tree, cork of champagne, a stocking etc., mark human’s connection with, neither more nor less , a global and unstoppable process of the passage of time.
