Reused materials pavilion. Collaboration with Comte/Meuwly
Facing the consequences of exploitation and environmental destruction makes it necessary to change the way resources are consumed. The pavilion project for Architekturwoche Basel (AWB) focuses on reflections on the theme of circular construction using elements from demolition projects in Switzerland.
We are testing materials outside their usual context. As architects, we should not look at "mined" materials through the prism of their conventional application. We must reevaluate materials according to their qualities, structural possibilities, shape, color and physical properties. Therefore, we should not call a wall a wall, a door a door, and a roof a roof. "Neither a wall nor a roof! "
